Redcar care home Residents receive Christmas letters from local schoolResidents at HC-One’s Roseberry Court care home in Redcar received some lovely Christmas letters from their friends at the local primary school.

On 30th December, Residents received, opened and read their letters that they had received from two local schools. Students had written some very uplifting, funny and informative letters about themselves, their hobbies, pets and family life.

It brought some lovely smiles to Residents faces, who were able to reminisce about their own life and pets and what was important to them at Christmas time.

Roseberry Court Resident, Alma said: “It was such a lovely thing for the children to do, it has brought back some lovely memories for me.”

Albert, also a Resident at Roseberry Court said: “It’s been lovely hearing all about the children's hobbies, home and school life, so different to ours growing up.”

Residents loved reading all the lovely things the children had been doing in their life and look forward to keeping their connection to school.
