Remembrance Day at Aston House care homeWith lockdown and social measures in place, Aston House care home, in Hayes, Middlesex observed the Remembrance Day today.

The Residents started their Day with beautiful songs of peace and remembrance and joined in with a sing-along with songs like 'Show me the way to go home', ‘We are the world' and ‘Will meet again’.

The Residents also put their talents to the test and crafted some really lovely poppy flowers that were displayed in the home. Colleagues were very proud of everyone's hard work and look to maintain the poppy display, to keep the spirit and memories alive. The home watched the broadcast on the BBC and participated in the two-minute silence.

One Resident remarked, "It is very important that we never forget those who gave their lives for us."
