Colleagues and Residents at HC One’s Meadowbank House care home held a remembrance weekend.
The Bolton care home are lucky to have Residents who are very talented in art and craft, so this year the home created large poppies to place everywhere.
As well as the main display, there were small poppies placed on each person’s door to their room too.
Colleagues and Residents listened to a playlist called "songs that won the war" whilst sharing stories of the men and woman that fought for our freedom. Everyone at the home vouched to always keep their memories alive.
Resident Joyce commented "without them there wouldn’t be an us, they will always be a part of us.”
