Colleagues and Residents at HC One’s Silverwood care home paid their respects on Remembrance Day.
It was an emotional day for the Residents and staff at the Nottingham care home.
On Wednesday 11th November at 11am, everyone stood silently for two minutes alongside the display designed and put together by staff, which was put up at the front of the home.
It was a time to reflect, and remember those that gave their all so that we might live a life free from fear.
One Resident said “Just thinking about them makes me feel grateful for how they fought for our freedom.”
Now we shall remember them the same time every year. The last post plays out and echoes the streets surrounding Silverwood Care Home as everyone remembers all those forgotten heroes.
