Colleagues and Residents at HC One’s Stoneyford care home created their own poppies for Remembrance Day.
Everyone at the Sutton-In-Ashfield care home helped to craft poppies to decorate the home for Remembrance Day.
Residents commented that it was important to remember the past and teach the younger generations about the sacrifices made.
Some people are complaining about a few weeks of lockdown, past generations spent years apart and some never made it home to allow us to live in freedom today.
The poppy display looked beautiful and the home held their two minutes silence to pay their respects. It was a meaningful afternoon for all the Residents.
