Ashton View care home in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Greater Manchester, counted themselves lucky enough to be selected by a community worker to lay a 'Lest We Forget' poppy for Remembrance Sunday.
Previously the community worker had done previous work for Wigan Council and the NHS 'Thank you NHS' signs currently displayed at Wigan Hospital.
Jamie Duncan-Noke, Stacey Sharples and Emma Leigh, all Colleagues at Ashton View, were delighted to be selected. The poppy installation at Ashton View really is a fitting tribute to remember the price our veterans paid.
