Residents at HC-One’s Elstree Court care home were delighted as they welcomed local company, Full Beam Productions, as they performed a show titled “We Will Meet Again”.
The show surrounded the theme of reminiscence, incorporating war time songs and memories. Residents enjoyed watching it as they discusses their memories of the war, before observing the two minute silence.
Residents enjoyed also finding out various facts about the significance of poppies, with some Residents surprised at some of the facts they did not know.
A famous poem, ‘In Flanders’ Field’ was also read out, which everyone enjoyed listening to, with the home also raising money by selling poppies to Relatives.
Yolanda De Castro, home manager, commented: “The show was fantastic, and everyone has enjoyed reminiscing today.”
