A Resident at
Falstone Court in Sunderland which offers residential, nursing, residential memory and nursing memory care, for those living with dementia, had one to one time and learnt how to play Dominos for the first time.
Joan had lots of fun and giggles as Residents and Colleagues played and, in the end, she played like a professional, winning seven games out of 10l!
Joan commented afterwards saying, “That was great”.
Julie Merritt, Care Home Manager said, “It is lovely that a Resident can still learn new games to play and bond with the staff”.
