Resident Michael enjoyed a visit to Heron music café with wellbeing coordinator Melissa this week.
Heron music café is a dementia friendly establishment which have music sessions filled with singing and dancing which our Residents can go along to, which includes a break for some snacks too.
During the session Michael was able to join in playing musical instruments and take part in some sing-a-longs too. As well as the engaging activities through music and dance, it also gives Residents the chance to meet new people.
Resident Michael commented ‘I really enjoyed the session and meeting new people, it was lovely.’
