Eileen Yeadon, a Resident at HC One’s White Rose House care home, celebrated her 106th birthday today.
Eileen, who has lived at the Holmfirth home for over a year, was able to celebrate her birthday with the staff and Residents at the home.
Eileen spent the morning reading all of the cards that she had received from her friends and family and opening her gifts. She had lots of flowers delivered which made her room look like a florist and smell amazing!
The homes chef baked her a beautiful cake and everyone joined in to sing "happy birthday".
Eileen’s afternoon was spent with the Residents and staff singing and dancing to her favourite tunes.
Her family were unable to attend but the staff made sure that lots of photos were taken so her family could see what a great day she had.
Eileen had a great day singing and dancing, and her family were very thankful for the photographs taken and helping her to celebrate such a special occasion.
