Residents at HC-One’s Needham Court care home, on Stanhope Road in Jarrow have been busy donning their chef whites for cooking classes with Marie, Wellbeing Coordinator and Les, Care Assistant.
Twelve Residents have been learning some new cookery skills thanks to Les, Marie and some helpful volunteers, the group work together to create a variety of dishes and taste test their final results. Residents are enjoying the classes and are looking forward to their next class already.
Joann Mills, Needham Court Home Manager said: “It means so much to us all that Les and our volunteers are visiting our home in their spare time to support with the Resident’s cookery class, thank you from everyone at Needham Court.”
