Ann, a Resident at HC One’s Sunnyside care home, approached a member of staff to ask to help out with cleaning the windows today.
Ann Hawley approached the wellbeing coordinator at the Droylsden care home today and asked if she could clean the outside windows.
The gardeners had been tidying the outside and some of the grass and foliage had been blown onto the windows. As the weather was lovely, and it gave Ann a chance to get some fresh air, the staff let Ann get to work!
Ann said “I love to help around the home, as I see Sunnyside as my home and I like cleaning and sprucing it up!”
The home manager commented “During the coronavirus crisis all our Residents have been itching to get outside, and Ann's offer to clean windows could not be refused!”
