Residents at HC-One’s Worsley Lodge care home in Leeds recently made some beautiful homemade pizzas, delicious enough to deserve a chef’s kiss.
After talking to Residents about what they would enjoy for tea, many of them wished to make their own. With many ideas being talked about, Colleagues and Residents eventually settled on making some lovely homemade pizzas.
Residents had a great time talking about cooking and tasting all the toppings and discussing their favourite ones with a nice cuppa and biscuits.
Worsley Lodge chef joined Residents and Colleagues throughout the process to show how she makes them. Later they went off to the kitchen for cooking before Residents and Colleagues enjoyed them for tea.
Worsley Lodge Home Manager Anne Bannon said: “It is so nice to see Residents interacting and helping each other.”
