HC-One’s Maple Lodge care home Residents came together to create their own ‘thinking of you’ cards in the hope of posting them to their Relatives and loved ones.
The activity began after the Residents started receiving letters in the post from their loved ones, wishing them well, so the Residents decided it would be a lovely idea to send their love through hand made cards.
Each card was individually designed and a photo was included in each in the hope of offering their loved ones reassurance during these difficult times.
Sarah Dodd, home manager, commented: “The Residents were so happy to be making these cards for their families. The messages were lovely and they hope to receive replies soon.”
