Residents enjoy Harvest Festival high tea at Glasgow care homeResidents at HC-One’s Highgate care home in Glasgow recently enjoyed a Harvest Festival themed high tea, to celebrate the yearly event.

Highgate Residents first enjoyed a tasty lunch, with different breads, cheeses and chutneys as well as pickles. The homes café bar was decorated, and played harvest festival music, serving wine, beer and cider.

After, Residents and Colleagues enjoyed a sing and a dance to celebrate the event even more. Residents really enjoyed the afternoon, especially having the choice of which beer or cider to drink.

Mr Stephenson, a Resident at Highgate said: “Lunch was lovely and I love a glass of red wine, it was nice having a tipple of my choice.”

Colleagues and Residents were over the moon the have happier times back again and hope to have many days such as this in the future and over the Christmas period.

Highgate Home Manager Jennifer McKellar said: “The Residents loved the day and enjoyed making their scarecrows.”
