Residents are enjoying a cheeky tipple as they taste-test different gins and flavoured tonics while chatting with their loved ones at HC-One’s Brompton House care home in Broadway, Worcestershire.
Everyone enjoyed a few drinks to celebrate a day of socialising, not just with each other but with their families as well. Each Resident enjoyed special time on a Zoom video call with their family to catch up with all the latest news and gossip.
One Resident commented: “I’m just so happy to see my family right now.”
Residents sipped on a delicious gin and tonic or non-alcoholic cocktail as they chatted and laughed with their loved ones on the big screen in the lounge.
Everyone loved their afternoon as they enjoyed a tipple with their family. Afterwards, Colleagues received plenty of heart-warming emails from Relatives thanking them for organising the special afternoon.
In between Zoom calls, Residents enjoyed the company of one another as they tried different fruity gins, including orange, strawberry and lemon, with their choice of mixer. There was laughter throughout the home as Residents chatted about family memories.
Brompton House Home Manager, Katie Corcoran, said: “It was a very nice day. It was good to see all the Residents socialising together and seeing their families.”
