Aspen Court care home in Derby had stacks of fun as Residents celebrated Pancake Day.
Also known as Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day is an annual event celebrated across HC-One care homes as part of Residents’ activities.
Residents and their loved ones celebrated the occasion with traditional pancake tossing and games, as everyone enjoyed flipping pancakes and sharing stories about how they spent Shrove Tuesday growing up.
Once the pancakes were cooked, Residents enjoyed tasting the sweet treats as they selected from a variety of traditional toppings, including golden syrup and lemon and sugar.
One Resident commented: “What a fun morning! I haven't laughed that much in ages.”
