Residents are giving thanks to a Colleague at HC-One’s Greengables care home in Congleton to show their gratitude for all the hard work she does.
Lesley, a Wellbeing Coordinator at the home, was surprised when Residents presented her with flowers and chocolates as thanks for her dedication to work.
Everyone loved seeing Lesley’s shocked face and Residents were even surprised themselves when another Colleague, Mia, broke out into song.
One Resident said: “Having Mia singing was a real treat and I’ve really enjoyed the day.”
Everyone attended and joined in with the celebrations, paying attention to social distancing of course.
Celebrating the hard work that Colleagues do is important, especially during these difficult times.
Greengables Home Manager, Dawn Sadler, said: “I’m really proud to have Lesley here as she goes above and beyond.
“She’s a great girl.”
