Residents have been enjoying an afternoon in the glorious sunshine as the weather begins to warm up at HC-One’s Mossdale Residence care home in Burnholme, York.
They tucked into a delicious afternoon tea in the sunshine of the courtyard gardens. They were treated to freshly baked doughnuts, chocolate eclairs and tiramisu as they breathed in the crisp air.
One Resident commented: “A beautiful day in a beautiful location.”
The Residents laughed and giggled about needing to burn their doughnuts off so took it upon themselves to go for a little stroll around the grounds. A day in the sunshine was a lovely start to springtime and Residents are looking forward to the warmer weather and being able to spend more time outside lazing or exercising in the sunshine.
Mossdale Residence Deputy Manager, Lin Lee, said: “We loved seeing the Residents enjoying themselves, laughing and happy her at Mossdale.”
