Residents wish granted at Guisborough care homeHeather, a Resident at HC-One’s Park House care home in Guisborough had a special request as ‘Resident of the day’, which was for the home to have it’s very own Country Music show.

This went ahead at Heather’s request and Wellbeing Coordinator, Tracy, set up the concert and had a full country music afternoon with Tracy herself singing live. She sang some singalong country numbers and some famous country artists.

Tracy dressed for the part with cowboy boots and a tasselled suede jacket, along with a glittery cowboy hat and the residents all wore glittery cowboy hats too.

Heather wanted to try Tracy’s special jacket on and enjoyed wearing it. After the concert, staff and Residents had refreshing ice lollies and “sasperella”.

Heather said the country music was wonderful and it evoked many happy memories of going to the local country music club with late husband, Bob. All the other Residents who came to support Heather said it was a very enjoyable afternoon.

Located on Park Lane, Park House care home offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen that require residential care and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
