Colleagues at HC-One’s Catmoor House care home in Scone have made their very own mobile library for Residents, after their previous provider stopped providing the home with their mobile library service.
Reading is very important for Residents as it is proven to reduce stress and enhancing sleep as well as improving memory circuits, sharpening decision-making and possibly even delaying the onset of dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.
Colleagues know how it important it is for Residents to read, so they created their own mobile library for Residents to get their reading fix.
Residents can now borrow a book whenever they like, like they used to, and they think the library is very well made and it looks lovely.
