Scone care home Residents create bookmarks for loved onesResidents at HC-One’s Catmoor House in Scone have created some lovely bookmarks to send home to their loved ones.

On 31st January, Residents and Colleagues sat down in the homes activity area to create some thoughtful gifts for their loved ones back home. Many Residents expressed how their loved ones like to read and that they would like to make them some colourful bookmarks.

Catmoor House care home Resident Sheila was making one for her granddaughter, Charlotte and made sure it was full of colour and that it had some lovely artwork on it.

Creating art keeps the mind stimulated and can help prevent emotional illnesses and it can also give Residents a sense of competence and greater self-esteem.
