Scone care home Residents create decorative biscuits for Remembrance DayResidents at HC-One’s Catmoor House care home in Scone recently made some lovely decorative biscuits to commemorate those who we lost this Remembrance Day.

Resident Eliza Reynolds was very keen to get her hands sticky and was first to create her own WW2 themed biscuit. Eliza decided to create some edible poppies and placed these on her biscuits that were coated in black icing to represent a soldier’s uniform.

Eliza really enjoyed getting her hands covered in chocolate and making a mess with all her ingredients. Care Assistant Megan Douglas was always nearby if Eliza needed any help and, in the end, she was able to create some lovely poppy themed biscuits.

Catmoor Home Manager, Carol Riley said: “Eliza has created a wonderful biscuit to commemorate the fallen this Remembrance Day, she cannot wait to try it.”
