Scone care home throw surprise baby shower for Care AssistantColleagues at HC-One’s Catmoor House care in Scone recently threw a surprise baby shower for their friend and fellow Colleague, Alisha Cooper.

Alisha works as a Care Assistant at Catmoor House and due to coronavirus restrictions, was not allowed to have a baby shower outside of the home, so the staff at Catmoor decided to organise one in the home for the mother to be.

Colleagues bought cakes, popcorn, balloons and gifts to put into a hamper to help Alisha during the first few months of her new baby boy’s life. Alisha is a very quiet girl but was over the moon that Colleagues decided to throw her a surprise baby shower.

Alisha was absolutely over the moon with the surprise baby shower and couldn’t believe how kind everyone had been with their donations, “all the staff were very kind, I loved all the baby gifts,” she said.

Many Residents were thrilled to hear the news that Colleagues celebrated with Alisha, the expected arrival of her new baby boy. They can’t wait to see him when Alisha can finally visit the home.
