Valerie Joyce, a Resident at HC One’s Bridgewater Park care home, celebrated her birthday today.
Colleagues at the Scunthorpe home made sure to mark Valerie’s birthday and celebrate, even though she is unable to see her family in person due to this difficult time.
Staff gave her a card from all of the team and sang ‘happy birthday’ too. The home also gave Valerie, tea, coffee and cakes to enjoy.
The Residents daughter sent cards and gifts to the home too, which were lovely for Valerie to be able to open. She received some beautiful flowers for her room.
Valerie commented “What lovely presents from my daughter, how thoughtful.”
