To celebrate this years International Burger Day, Residents at HC-One’s
Woodlands View care home in Stevenage held a USA Day to incorporate all things America.
On 28th May, Residents and Colleagues celebrated International Burger Day with an American themed day including staff dressing up in jeans and t-shirts/check shirts. For lunch the home had an American Style picnic of hamburgers, hot dogs and sides.
Residents enjoyed an American themed quiz followed by cupcakes for their afternoon tea, which everyone really thoroughly enjoyed.
“It was a really lovely day and nice to see the staff in their own clothes and the America Quiz was good fun,” said one Resident.
Located in Poplars, just three miles from Stevenage town centre, Woodlands View is a friendly care home with 120 beds, offering residential, nursing and nursing dementia care.
