Second Covid vaccinations at Howley care home
Birch Court care home, in Warrington, where they offer nursing, nursing memory care and residential memory care for those living with dementia., were delighted to welcome three representatives from the Primary Care Network to complete the second round of vaccinations.

Colleagues had been contacted to explain that if they were not on shift they could drop in to have the vaccine. 48 staff were expected and every single member of the team turned up.

There was quite an excited feel to the afternoon, Colleagues were really happy that all everyone at the home would be safer having had the vaccine.

One Resident joked, “I never felt a thing and the doctor is a bit of eye candy!”

Another Resident said, “How organised, I feel great now. Hopefully we can get our lives back soon.”

Kerry Winstanley, Home Manager, remarked, “It was such a very well organised day. I am so proud of my team at Birch Court who have embraced the vaccination program, thank you to each and every one.”

With huge thanks to Dr Northey and team.
