Seeds of hope planted at Arbroath care homeHC-One’s Cairnie Lodge care home in Arbroath received a generous donation from their local Morrisons supermarket.

Morrisons donated ‘Seeds of Hope’ to Cairnie Lodge, which included packs of sunflower seeds, everyone was appreciative of the donation and the Residents are now having sunflower growing competition.

Everyone is enjoying watching the sunflowers grow and have used eco-friendly tubes to grow the seeds before they are moved in to the ground. One Resident commented: “What a lovely gift, I love sunflowers and can’t wait to see them all in our garden.”

Cairnie Lodge Home Manager, Heather Sivewright said: “Thank you to the team at Morrisons for the thoughtful donation, these sunflowers really are a seed of hope to us all at Cairnie Lodge.”
