As the weather was a bit gloomy this weekend, Residents at The Orchards care home, in Birmingham, asked if they could do a musical movie marathon watching some classic musicals.
Colleagues organised an event which included class titles such as The Sound of Music, Dreamgirls, Hairspray, Chicago and Grease. Everyone had a lovely couple of days singing and dancing along to all their favourite songs.
Residents enjoyed popcorn, cakes and even did some wine tasting too! All thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was really lovely seeing Residents so delighted!
Norman, who lives at the home, said that he hadn’t had a good sing song for a while and it was just what he needed.
Connie Bull and Katherine Collins, Colleagues at The Orchards, organised the night for Residents and stated, “It was lovely to see our Residents singing and laughing. Their favourite part of the night was definitely the wine tasting though!”
