Shard End home make Halloween arts and craftsResidents at The Orchards care home, in Birmingham, have been painting Halloween tealight holders today.

Two of the home’s wellbeing Colleagues set up the activity for Residents to get involved in. Those that took part were Doreen Jackson, Hazel Cassin, Gail Biggerstaff, Beryl Feely and Joan Kirby.

The highlights were getting to paint, and talk about your favourite thing to do on Halloween. We had cups of teas and coffee with some biscuits.

Gail commented, “I really enjoyed myself, I love doing things like this”

Another Resident loved the painting and getting in the Halloween spirit, “I would love to do this activity again.”

Simon Barnett, who is the Home Manager, remarked, “Everyone had great fun in this activity!”
