A Resident is celebrating turning a massive 100-years-old with a relaxing day at HC-One’s Swallownest care home in Swallownest, South Yorkshire.
Muriel Davies told Colleagues at the home that she wanted a nice quiet day to celebrate her birthday and everyone gladly obliged.
Unfortunately, due to lockdown restrictions her family were unable to visit Muriel so Colleagues arranged a virtual gathering so they could celebrate together.
She enjoyed a chat with her family as they watched her open her lovely gifts and cards, including her special card from the Queen, and wished they could tuck into her delicious birthday cake with her.
Muriel commented: “I’d like to thank you all for making my birthday special and I’m very pleased with my card from the Queen.
I’ve had a lovely day. It was just what I wanted.”
Muriel enjoyed her relaxed day as she celebrated turning 100 and enjoyed Colleagues making a fuss of her on her very special day.
