Colleagues at HC-One’s April Park care home in Sheffield hosted an Easter Bonnet competition this Easter, letting Residents get creative in their designs.
Residents at April Park took part in an Easter bonnet competition, creating their own wonderful hat creations, with the winners wearing their bonnets and all entries won a prize.
The Easter bonnet is a type of hat that women and girls wear to Easter services, Ladies purchased new and elaborate designs for particular church services and, in the case of Easter, took the opportunity of the end of Lent to buy luxury items.
April Park Residents really enjoyed winning the prizes and showing their bonnets to all the Residents and staff.
