Sheffield care home make kindness wallThe Residents and Colleagues at April Park care home, In Eckington, have started a kindness wall.

The aim of the wall is that everyone writes what kindness means to them on a sticky note. This could be anything from someone making them a cup of tea to Colleagues helping out a Resident.

Josephine Ford and Kylieann Pridmore, pictured, have been reading through the wonderful acts of kindness on the wall and agree it is a great way to raise spirits during this particularly difficult time.

Residents have enjoyed talking about how they have experienced kindness in the past and present.

Home Manager, Alison Cossey, commented, “Kindness is at the core of all we do at April Park, it’s good to find out what the Residents feel kindness actually is.”
