Sheffield care home receive kindness lettersResidents at HC One’s Alexander Court care home received some lovely letters today.

Kindness letters are letters from children within the local community, which were sent into the Sheffield care home for Residents to read.

The children send in news and stories, and even home-made crosswords to keep Residents in touch with the outside world at this difficult time.

The home has set up a post box in the local shop where the children are able to go and post their letters.

Colleagues at the home then read them with the Residents, in small groups and also one to one over refreshments. It is great to sit and chat about the lovely letters. One Resident said “how lovely of the children.”
