Residents at HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor care home in Falkirk enjoyed a COVID-19 safe game of seated basketball.
The team at Kinnaird Manor recently acquired a basketball and hoop, but were unsure if Residents would enjoy the activity. They were pleasantly surprised at how much fun Residents had throwing and catching the ball together and taking turns trying to get the ball in the basketball hoop.
A great time was had by all, with Residents commenting on how much fun they had and that they are looking forward to playing basketball again soon.
Kinnaird Manor Home Manager, Donna Stewart said: “It’s great that everyone enjoyed their seated basketball, the benefits to our Resident’s physical and emotional wellbeing from activities like this are so important.”
