Residents at HC-One’s Newlands care home in Stockport recently enjoyed a group sing a long which spread cheer throughout the whole home.
Colleagues had printed out song sheets and even supplied instruments for Residents to play as they sang along. Colleagues played some classics from the likes of the legends Elvis, The Beatles, Gene Pitney and many more.
Requests for songs were flowing in and Colleagues were inundated with song sheet printing, the Residents absolutely loved the sing a long and definitely got carried away with it.
One Newlands Resident said: “This was great fun - can we do it again tomorrow?”
The event certainly cheered up the full home and Residents can’t wait until the next one.
