Residents and sisters Joyce and Norah, have both moved into HC One’s Bankwood care home.
This is a lovely story of 2 sisters, Joyce and Norah, who have moved into the Duffield home.
Norah came to live at Bankwood during the Coronavirus pandemic, where the only way to see her family was by Skype. Norah had many conversations with her sister Joyce and daughter Penny.
Now unfortunately Joyce has had to come to Bankwood for respite for 6 weeks, Norah hasn't seen her sister yet due to Joyce having to be isolated for 2 weeks.
Norah does know she’s here as staff have let her know. They were always together as children and have spent a lot of their time together even after marriage and children.
A little saying from Joyce is “side by side or miles apart, sisters will always be connected by the heart.”
It will be so lovely when the two can finally reunite again and spend some time within the home together.
