Residents at HC One’s Brompton House enjoyed a delicious Indian takeaway at the home.
Residents have been missing their monthly night out to the local Indian restaurant in the village, so the Broadway care home staff brought the restaurant to them.
A number of the Residents enjoyed a takeaway, and the restaurant very kindly gave the care home Colleagues a large discount due to community links with them and their good custom.
The home played Indian music in the background whilst everyone tucked in to try and bring the atmosphere of the restaurant to them. Two of the residents have previously travelled to India, and they told tales all about it.
There was a lovely, cheerful atmosphere in the dining room with lots of laughter. One of the Residents commented “what a lovely change, I’d like to do that again.”
The home manager said "curry night is a well-established feature of Brompton House and it's been greatly missed. This was the next best thing".
