Spennymoor care home celebrates the Harvest FestivalResidents at HC-One’s Lothian House care home in County Durham, recently enjoyed a full day celebrating the Harvest Festival, with many activities on offer for Residents to get involved in.

Residents and staff enjoyed creating vegetable characters and Autumn themed tea light holders. An Autumnal lunch of broth and dumplings was served and, on the afternoon, Residents enjoyed a Harvest themed sing a long including "All things bright and beautiful".

Lothian’s Chef and kitchen assistant created a beautiful afternoon snack trolley full of lovely fruit skewers that Residents could enjoy. Residents have enjoyed the Arts and Crafts which have been used to decorate the Reception in an Autumn theme.

Lothian House Home Manager, Jill Morton-Carr said: “Residents enjoyed watching the staff participate, it really was a whole team approach.”
