Residents at HC-One’s Maple Lodge care home enjoyed an afternoon of creativity as they came together to make bird feeders.
One Resident, Harry, is a very keen bird watcher, so this activity was particularly exciting for him, remarking at how much he enjoys watching and listening to the birds in the garden.
Everyone enjoyed as they each created their own bird feeders, filling them with seeds and excited to place them outside in the garden for their feathered friends.
One Resident remarked: “It’s lovely to hear the birds each day and watch them eat their food, such a nice part of nature.”
