Stafford care home receive jokes from children for Comic ReliefColleagues at HC-One’s Maple Court care home in Stafford received a letter from a local academy, who wanted to send Residents some jokes for Comic Relief.

On 19th March, Colleagues at Maple Court received a letter from Rowley Park Academy, requesting to send some jokes and stories over to Residents to make them smile on Comic Relief.

Residents were really grateful for the jokes and stories that the children sent over and it really cheered them up after what has been a tough year. Residents were laughing at the jokes and were really attentive to the stories they had written, really getting themselves engrossed.

“We are proud to be picked for this event and they did give us a smile,” said Resident Betty Shakespear.
