Residents spent the afternoon getting active in their armchairs at HC One’s Millbrook care home.
Today Colleague Abi took the lead in the Stalybridge care homes armchair exercise class.
Abi carried out various movements using her arms and legs that the Residents could easily follow to music from the 50s and 60s.
Usually there are many more at the class but due to segregation between floors only 3 decided to come and have a go today.
Colleagues hold exercise classes once a week on each floor to help keep Residents moving.
The home manager commented “Exercise is important to our residents it keeps them moving and also socialising within social distancing.”
