Resident Aldine from HC One’s Millbrook care home, had an enjoyable afternoon completing jigsaw puzzles today.
The jigsaws were 250 pieces, and Aldine and Gavin, a Colleague at the Stalybridge home, took their time to work out which piece went where.
Aldine was very good at figuring out the various shapes of the pieces and the location they needed to go in.
Aldine managed to complete two different jigsaws and was very pleased with herself!
One of the puzzles was a picture of cars, so Aldine spent her time talking to Gavin about the different cars that have been around over the years too.
It was a lovely afternoon, made even better with drinks and a deliciously gooey ginger cake being served whilst carrying out the activity too.
Aldine said “we definitely need to do this again!”
