Stalybridge care home welcome Relatives into the gardenHC One’s Stamford Court care home have welcomed Relatives into their garden for the first time since lockdown.

Both Residents and Colleagues have been waiting in anticipation of outdoor garden visits, and the Stalybridge care home were excited to welcome Relatives back.

A Gazebo was delivered this week to the home, and the team were straight to work in setting the Gazebo up on the decking in preparation for visits to take place.

One of the Residents commented “what a lovely idea and at least we won’t get wet if it rains!”

Colleagues were told families could visit their loved ones at allocated times, and the calls started coming through quickly.

Resident Isabel was really excited to meet up with her daughter who she had not seen in person since March. Isabel struggles to understand sometimes and had to be reassured by staff as to why her daughter had not visited. She was over the moon when her daughter did visit and looks forward to the next visit.
