Stevenage care home Resident create thank you cards for childrenResidents at HC-One’s Woodlands View care home in Stevenage were kindly gifted 100 Easter eggs with a huge range of chocolate for every appetite and handmade cards made by children in the local community.

As a thank you, Residents were very keen on making the perfect ‘Thank you’ cards for the Easter eggs that were kindly donated to them.  It was a personal way to show their appreciation and thanks.

Each hand made card had a message of thanks from the Residents. Residents really enjoy making the cards for the children and wanted to make sure they were as amazing as possible, to give them a proper thank you.

“The heart-warming generosity of the local community brought smiles to our Residents faces and for our Residents to show their gratitude,” said Woodlands View Home Manager, Deby O'Hare.

Located in Poplars, just three miles from Stevenage town centre, Woodlands View is dedicated to ensuring older people can have the highest quality of life possible in a safe and homely environment, offering care such as residential, nursing and nursing memory care for those living with dementia.
