Stockport care home celebrate Harvest FestivalResidents at HC-One’s Newlands care home in Stockport recently celebrated the popular annual Harvest Festival.

Colleagues and Residents decorated the home ready for the festival, with homemade buntings and drawings hanging from the walls. Residents also enjoyed a harvest menu and all the Residents enjoyed all the food from it.

In the afternoon, Residents made an autumn frame to take pictures of themselves in which they then turned into cards to send to their Relatives to let them know they were having a good time.

A harvest festival is an annual celebration that occurs around the time of the main harvest of a given region. Given the differences in climate and crops around the world, harvest festivals can be found at various times at different places.
