Residents at HC One’s Appleton Manor care home created lots of cards to send out to their friends and family.
Residents at the Stockport home enjoyed getting creative, making colourful cards to send out to their loved ones to keep in touch during this difficult time, and also some small keepsake cards to put in a wallet or purse.
They also made keyrings with their finger prints on them too. Each of these had a little message on which said ‘Our finger prints never fade from the lives we touch.’
Along with all of these were a personalised pocket hug coloured coin reading ‘A little pocket hug just for you’.
It is so nice to be able to make gifts that are filled with sentiment. Residents really enjoyed making these and know they will bring great joy to their loved ones when they receive them too.
Martha, one of the Residents, commented “These are so lovely, my daughter will be so happy with them.”
