Stockport care home has stacks of fun for Pancake DayResidents had a flipping good time as Appleton Manor care home in Stockport celebrated Pancake Day. 

Also known as Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day takes place on the day before Ash Wednesday. It occurs between February 2 and March 9, depending on the date of Easter.

Pancake Day celebrations kicked off in style as Residents helped to flip their own pancakes, as the kitchen team at Appleton Manor prepared the tasty treats. 

Once the pancakes were cooked, Residents enjoyed selecting from a variety of fillings including lemon and sugar, syrup and jam.

The day was a great success, as one Resident commented: “Pancake day has been so much fun! The pancakes were delicious.”
