HC One’s Appleton Manor received a very kind donation of some beautiful homemade crochet blankets for the Residents.
Mrs Sue Chadwick made a very kind donation of a selection of gorgeous crochet blankets to the Stockport care home.
Sue enjoys crocheting in her spare time so offered to make them for the home. Sue is good friends with wellbeing coordinator Sarah, so contacted her to ask if Residents would like anything as she has some spare time with being furloughed.
Sarah was touched to receive this call and said the Residents would love anything homemade that she can create. So Sue decided to create the blankets and put her own stamp on them with a label saying ‘handmade with love’.
Sarah commented “Wow these are fantastic! Sue is so talented, I just wanted to say a huge thank-you and we have some very happy Residents!”
The Residents were absolutely made up to receive the blankets, and kept commenting on how lovely they are.
