HC-One’s Blar Buidhe care home in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis is celebrating the dedication of two team members, who have both recently been recognised for their hard work with long service awards.
Chef, Donald Mackay and Laundry Assistant, Nicola James both celebrated five years’ service at Blar Buidhe recently and were awarded with long service awards by Home Manager, Donald McIntosh.
Fellow team members and Residents at the care home watched as both Donald and Nicola received their certificates and a gift as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the Blar Buidhe community.
Nicola James commented: “It’s lovely to be recognised, I can’t believe it’s been five years.”
Blar Buidhe Home Manager, Donald McIntosh said: “It was a pleasure to celebrate the hard work of both Donald and Nicola, they are valued members of our team here at Blar Buidhe.”
